Its themes tackle the way which artists can feel pressured to have to be constantly creating content for social media. This pressure can lead to digital burnout as feeding the content algorithm is a daily grind where you are in an attention competition with every other artist for views, likes and shares on this digital real-estate. It’s a strange world in which we live where people can be famous for doing nothing whilst artists can feel largely ignored whilst funny cat videos rack up millions of streams. The song’s lyrics look at how true artistic fulfilment can be found through not constantly chasing superficial praise but instead learning to enjoy the art of creation itself and the satisfaction that being lost in the moment can bring.

“It’s a song about the absurdity of social media and how people can be celebrated and put up on a pedestal for doing absolutely nothing. We have lost our way a bit as a race where our attention spans have deteriorated to the point where anything longer than a few seconds is too much commitment for us. Despite all this it’s a positive track talking about how we are at a crossroads where we can choose to rise beyond this celebration of vanity and self obsession and reconnect on a human level.” Simon Quinn
