Aspiring aerospace engineer Alia Sims ’26 reached for the stars for her myExperience capstone project, producing a 20-minute animated educational video exploring the science and purpose of space travel. Her project received an award of distinction from Hutchison's Institute for Responsible Citizenship.
Alia's interest in rocket science first ignited in Ms. Blake’s 8th grade physical science class while studying Newton’s Laws of Motion. The Institute for Responsible Citizenship helped her take that curiosity to new heights, and she brought her project full circle by sharing it with younger Hutchison girls.
