Описание: Succulent plants are often adorned with spines, spikes, and tufts of cottony wool. Is there a design feature underlying this that can be understood as a physical problem? Here, we examine flows of fluid in and around various succulent plants, to see how these adornments affect the fluid exchange regime around the plant.
