iblank2apples - Give Me Wings [Electro House]

Описание: The last Ponies at Dawn Anthology pre-release feature is iblank2apples' tribute to Fluttershy's character depth and development as seen in S02E22 "Hurricane Fluttershy"! Definitely not your average Electro House tune, it calls for emotion as quotes from the episode resonate within an instrumental that progresses at the same time as the story...

"Hurricane Fluttershy" is one of my favorite episodes ever and it was very emotional for me, so I was very happy when I heard this new track from iblank2apples that encompasses so well the story and message of that episode. From the musician himself:

"I tried to make it about the episode, more specifically about Flutter's anxiety and fragility and her struggle to overcome it there first and second time."

Progressing from a more House-ish approach filled with samples from the episode, to a wubs-powered Electro House finale, the song delivers a very emotional journey as we relive the events of the episode and learn to face our fears for the greater good, following Fluttershy's hoofsteps and admiring the beauty and resolve of her character along the groove and the gorgeous sounds. Certainly yet another masterpiece from iblank2apples, and a very powerful tribute!

I had to add a rain effect for this artwork, which is a direct reference to "Hurricane Fluttershy" by the way! Loved that episode so much... The montage part with Fluttershy training over a very rock-ish BGM is one of the most powerful moments ever in MLP for me and it's making me tear up everytime. I'm so delighted that iblank2apples made this track about that episode!
Oh, and I did another Persona "eyes shot" in this video... If you didn't find it, it's right before that huge Electro House drop at the last part of the track. I wanted to do it... It represents Fluttershy calling forth her Persona (the inner strength gained from facing her fears) and hitting the enemy's weakness doing a critical hit I mean, saving the day. Yay for Fluttershy, a very strong pony!
