क्या बिहार में शराबबंदी कानून को खत्म कर दिया जाएगा? क्या होली से पहले इसमें ढिलाई दे दी जाएगी? दरअसल, बिहार में शराबबंदी मामला बिढ़नी (बिरनी) का खोता बन गया है। इसमें हाथ डाले नहीं कि भनभनाने का आवाज आनी शुरू हो जाती है। सत्ता और विपक्ष दोनों ओर से जुबान तीखी हो जाती है। बिहार में करीब एक दशक से लागू पूर्ण शराबबंदी कानून को लेकर राज्य की राजनीति में अब नया मोड़ आ गया है। मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार के इस 'ऐतिहासिक निर्णय' पर अब उनके अपने ही सहयोगी दलों ने सवाल उठाना शुरू कर दिया है। साल 2026 के शुरू होते ही ये चर्चा जोरों पर है कि क्या होली से पहले सरकार इस कानून में बड़ी ढील देगी या इसे पूरी तरह वापस लेगी? जहां एक तरफ नीतीश कुमार इसे सामाजिक सुधार और महिला सुरक्षा का आधार बताते हैं, वहीं विपक्षी दलों के साथ-साथ अब सत्ता पक्ष के नेता भी इसे 'विफल कानून' करार देकर इसके आर्थिक और सामाजिक पहलुओं पर बहस छेड़ चुके हैं।
