ENCANTO | Bruno Test Shot Progression | Adam Green |

Описание: This was my first and only Encanto pre-production test, and it was the first dialogue test of Bruno when John Leguizamo was cast around December of 2020. I WISH I could include the audio track, but since Disney doesn’t own it, I can’t. Supervisor Alberto Abril snagged an audio clip from John’s show “Fugly” and I blocked this to get a feel for his personality and cadence, and just to explore what it looks like to have John’s voice coming out of Bruno’s mouth. Previously I had animated Sid the sloth at Bluesky Studios with John’s voice but this was a wholly different approach 😂

The idea was for him to be slouchy and not confident and introspective with only his rat friends to talk to. I added my video reference at the end. I’m so happy to have contributed a small bit to Bruno, and it’s fun seeing how much people enjoyed him. I’ll post some of my actual film footage soon.

“Okay I’m not going to lie to you, I sabotage every relationship I’m in, every single one of them. And I don’t know I guess it’s, I got anger issues, I feel like the world owes me…egh. I definitely have self esteem issues, oh that’s, that’s guaranteed!”
