Lemmings (1993) - The 4 Promotional Levels - [PC; DOS] (CD-ROM Version)

Описание: Here is my 3rd Lemmings video showcasing the 4 Promotional Levels from the original Lemmings (1993) on the PC DOS CD-ROM Version (Including the CD-ROM Music). Inspired by a similar video I saw on YouTube of the Commodore Amiga version. Level Timestamps Listed Below:

Gameplay of this particular version including the relatively obscure CD-ROM music is quite difficult to find on YouTube at the time of making this video - it is to my understanding that this particular version uses exactly the same music used in the even more obscure Panasonic 3DO console port!

Because this PC; DOS version uses CD-ROM music; most soundtracks are less than 2 minutes long and there are indeed pauses between the music as it loops (usually between about 4-9 seconds depending on the song) - a bit like the 'Lemmings for Windows' Windows 95 CD-ROM version - as far as I know; this is normal due to the way modern CD-ROM Drives work. :-)

I am running my own CD-ROM copy of the game in DOSBox 0.74 on my Windows 7 System; this video was also recorded using its own built in recording program which works really well. :-)

Lemmings (1993) The 4 Promotional Levels - [PC; DOS] (CD-ROM Version!) - Lemmings was one of the most widespread ported video games of all time and went on to inspire various other video games series such as the Worms series.

This particular version of Lemmings includes all 120 levels across 4 different difficulty ratings bundled along with Oh No! More Lemmings on the same CD! :-)

I found the PC; DOS versions of all the original Lemmings games more enjoyable to play as opposed to the 'Lemmings For Windows' CD-ROM version; the engine is much more precise which is important for cursor placement and there are no issues with the Highlight Lemming feature.
