The most demanded video I have gotten to date. Today we look at Vault 101, one of the most famous vaults in the franchise. But many questions surround it. What is its story, what is its experiment. Who were the other overseers? I aim to answer all of this in this episode.

Vault 101 is one of the vault series of fallout shelters developed by Vault-Tec in the north-west area of Washington, D.C., near Tysons Corner. This vault is located northwest of Megaton, and west of Springvale. It was home to the Lone Wanderer until they left to search for their father.

The purpose of the vault was to see how long a population could last sealed up with just one leader to dictate their lives, the overseer. The vault was never to be opened. However this presents the problem of genetic diversity as more inbreeding withing the vault would occur as time went on. How long it would have lasted is unknown, but most likely it would only last a few more generations.
