Trains in Hallsberg part 14 - Rc2 ÖBB 001 with new Austrian retro livery!

Описание: Filmed on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Hallsberg station along the Western Main Line. In this video you will see a lot of freight trains and passenger trains that operate in the town on this crisp autumn day, but the biggest focus is of course on the locomotive Rc2 ÖBB 001, which has recently been painted by Tågab to wear the original color that the locomotive had when it ran in Austria. The locomotive was delivered from Swedish ASEA to ÖBB in Austria in 1971, and returned to Sweden in 2001. In addition to the color, the locomotive has also received decals that are reminiscent of the ÖBB era!

This day was the first time that the locomotive ran a tour to be shown to the public. This was done by Nässjö Järnvägsmuseum, which arranged a trip around Lake Vättern. The journey started in Nässjö and went via Motala and Hallsberg back down to Nässjö via Falköping and Jönköping. Then another lap was run, but only to Hallsberg and back via Motala. In Hallsberg the train ran through the marshalling yard before arriving at the station for a break, and it is at that time that this video was recorded. There was a great stir around the event with many curious visitors both on board and outside the train!
