Rafiki's Planet Watch and Conservation Station at Disney's Animal Kingdom close near the end of February 2026 and will reopen in the summer. I wanted to document it one more time. During the filming Rafiki surprised me, this is the rare video where you will hear me speak. I kept it in because it was a fun interaction.
I was on the first train over from Harambe and that train wasn't very crowded. It was nice having the area pretty empty.
The area is being transformed into a Bluey interactive encounter. As a result, the Affection Section (petting zoo) will be closing. Much of the interior of the building will be changed. I believe the section with the operating room and tanks will remain. I wanted to document it one more time. I hope you enjoy.
