Rainbow Puri Recipe | Healthy & Colorful Puri with Beetroot, Spinach & Turmeric
Welcome to our channel ‘Cooklink Khana’.
Today, we’re making a vibrant and healthy Rainbow Puri using natural colors from beetroot, spinach, and turmeric. These crispy, colorful puris are not just eye-catching but also packed with nutrition.
Ingredients:
• 3 cups wheat flour
• 1/2 cup beetroot purée (for pink puri)
• 1/2 cup spinach purée (for green puri)
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (for yellow puri)
• 1 tsp salt
• Water as needed
• Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Prepare the purées
• Grind beetroot to make a smooth purée.
• Grind spinach
2. Make the dough
• Divide the wheat flour into 4 portions.
• For pink puri, knead one portion with beetroot purée.
• For green puri, knead another portion with spinach purée.
• For yellow puri, knead the last portion with turmeric powder and water.
• Add a little salt to each dough and knead until smooth.
3. Roll & Fry
• Make small balls from each dough and roll them into puris.
• Heat oil in a pan and fry each puri until puffed and golden.
