Our PROLITE strobes on a DJI Inspire2. These are our newest STR3 LEDs that satisfy FAA Part 107 night flying (visible for 3 statute miles).
There are no commercial cameras that can take a video of LEDs at 3 miles in pure darkness. To put that into perspective the human eye is capable of picking up a single candlelight from 10 miles in an ideal pitch black environment.
We did the next best thing and shot an evening footage of the lights 1 mile away moments before sunset so the camera sensor can still focus while also allowing the LEDs to shine brightly. Even with the sun in the background the LEDs are clearly visible 1 mile away.
