Tasseomancy and Toronto-based visual artist Yuula Benivolski team up together to indulge in escapism; like asking your lover to play with your hair while you watch Law&Order SVU or getting your friend's kid to draw pictures in a small book while you watch the pencil slowly scrape the paper in an almost drooling state, lids heavy, brain and body relaxed, face melting into supporting palms.There is a name for this pleasant feeling – ASMR – “The Unnamed Feeling“. An ASMR performer induces a trance like state through close personal attention, intimate atmosphere, positive affirmation and hypnotic movements. The feeling is a hold over from the primate grooming response. This is our psychedelic interpretation of this perceptual phenomenon. We hope it will help soothe you and bring out the re-lax.
