#tvjscq - Clarendon College are through to the next round after a strong performance against Oberlin High. The 22nd seeded Clarendon College maintained a comfortable lead throughout the match against St. Andrew based Oberlin, ranked 43rd.
Clarendon stepped to the front early in the Opening Challenge. They took the segment 5-4 before extending their lead to 21-14 in the Speed Challenge.
The Buzzer Challenge saw Clarendon College turning on the after burners. They added an additional 14-points, easily outpacing Oberlin for the win.
Final Scores: Clarendon College – 35, Oberlin High – 16.
Clarendon College advanced to the second round of the competition.
Clarendon College was represented by: Netfa Blackwood (Captain), Daniela Jaggan, Ranaldo Walker and Amoy Drummond.
