The next few videos that i will be uploading, will be from around Dorset in the UK. This is one of the main areas that was fortified back in 1940, as the War office ( now the ministery of defence ) deemed this region, as a landing area for a possible Nazi invasion. In 1944 Dorset was used by the Allies to ready themselves for the D Day landings. In this movie I visit Studland, and take a look at Fort henry, and its part in `Exercise Smash` .
