Tonight’s song… “Bell Bottom Blues” written by Bobby Whitlock on Derek & The Dominoes … some people only think of Clapton in that band … to those people… I say, “People… Duane?”🤔 I’d proffer a guess that I’ve played this song more times than anyone in Derek & The Dominoes…. For a long time it was a 3rd set when I was drunk song because I’d played it so many times that the muscle memory was strong… 🤔🎶🍀🕊️🙏🏻👴🏼I’m wiser… and fortunate … I was able to manage to quit my 2 worst habits… nail biting and hiding … cigarettes and alcohol … and to each their own and all and all… but for me no regrets, no yen, one close call in 14+ years …
