DJI Mavic 2 Pro - Star Pride & Causeway Lass

Описание: Drone flight 987. June 22nd 2019, my first ship chase in more than a week due to focusing on storms and NLC activity, and to be honest I actually felt a little rusty. I wanted to capture cruise ship Star Pride which was anchored off Portrush, my plan was to get still images of her then a second flight to film her as she was leaving as I like to catch vessels in motion, she was due to depart at 21.00 BST, I arrived to a pleasant evening at the north coast, mild, milky sunshine, the 12mph Ely breeze dropped and all was good. On instinct I decided to do my first flight earlier than I planned. I flew out to her at anchor, took still images, and also grabbed some footage of fishing vessel Causeway Lass in the process. The time was 20.30 BST so I had half an hour to wait for the main flight. As soon as I landed she powered up and began to make her turn to leave, a full half an hour early, I couldn't believe it. I changed batteries and did a mad dash chase out to her as she made a tight turn and made a bee line for the open Atlantic. Luckily she was moving slow so I was able to catch up with her and made a few wraps around her before she got too far away. This was a very rushed and unplanned chase so I felt I didn't do as well as I hoped, however I still got her! vessel details...
