During the climax of the Trojan war, Neoptolemus (also known as Pyrrhus) made his way to the royal chambers where he saw Hector's wife and son, Astyanax. Neoptolemus took Astyanax from his mother's arms and took him to the top of the city's walls, where the infant would life no more.
