Mbololo Ward MCA Lawrence Mzugha has finally addressed the status of several multi-million-shilling projects that have stalled across the ward — leaving residents frustrated and development hanging in the balance.
In an exclusive interview With Gabriel Mwakoma Mzugha acknowledged the slow pace or complete halt of critical infrastructure and social development projects. The projects, which span water access, road construction, and Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centers, were launched with high expectations but have since faced delays due to what the MCA attributes to "bureaucratic red tape, delayed disbursement of funds, and lack of contractor accountability."
