Описание: Harpist Lavinia Meijer gives a virtuosic live performance of Etude No. 12 by Philip Glass live in concert at a chamber music performance at SFJazz in San Francisco, California on July 20, 2018. This etude was originally conceived as a piano piece that premiered in 2007, but this harp arrangement by Ms. Meijer was featured on her 2016 album, The Glass Effect. She and cellist Matt Haimovitz joined Mr. Glass on stage to perform a few trios during this concert.

Lavinia Meijer official bio:
South Korean-born harpist Meijer is a multiple award-winner whose 2012 Channel Classics release devoted to the music of Glass, Metamorphosis / The Hours, was certified platinum and topped the rock charts in her adopted home of the Netherlands. Her 2016 recording for Sony Classical, The Glass Effect: The Music of Philip Glass, features her interpretations of the composer’s etudes for solo piano.
