A panel of Dalit activists and a political leader shared their stories of oppression and struggle at India Today Conclave 2019 session 'Why We Marched'.
When asked about on dalit schemes and funds allocated, Dalit human rights activist Paul Divakar said, "It is all a mirage. While funds are being allocated on paper, only about 2 per cent of this is actually being spent on Dalit issues."
