Police Darbar held at Police Headquarters Garden South with IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon as the chief guest. The event was organized by the National Police Foundation (NPF), with key officials including Additional IG Karachi, Zonal DIGs, District SSPs, and Managing Director NPF, Irfan Zaman Khan, participating.
Sabir Hussain from NPF apologized for the delay in launching the 'Our Home Scheme' and highlighted the foundation’s goal of police welfare. He emphasized their plans to support officers in owning homes, and praised IG Sindh’s idea for providing interest-free electric motorbikes.
In a historic move, electric bikes will be offered to police personnel on easy installments, with contributions from NPF. Additionally, the Police Housing Society will include plots, a hospital, IBM University, and a TCF School.
IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon also announced a 5-billion-rupee health insurance scheme for police employees and assured continuous support for future welfare projects. The event concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields and gifts between Sindh Police and NPF.
