This is the 1st video (of about 3) of me explaining the answers to the math section of the Grade -1 Final Exam I released last week. I only went over the first 5 questions in this part since I wanted to show the whole process of logical ways to solve them and to explain further explanations of some concepts like "natural density". I'll release the other answer videos (then a text version of the answers) soon. And if you haven't seen the episode about the exam yet, check it out on the @ComboClass channel here: • I Hate Tests... So I Created One
and/or check out the text version here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1K...
The questions I'm answering in this video are:
[1] If you had a typical 12-hour clock starting at the “12”, and went forward 11 hours 123 times, what number would you end up on?
[2] If you rolled two 20-sided dice and calculated the difference between the two numbers, and repeated this process one million times, which integer would you expect to occur as the difference the most frequently?
[3] If you had 1 of each Platonic Solid shape (each of the possible 3-dimensional convex regular polyhedra), and you added up the number of vertices on each of them, what number would you get?
[4] How many 2-digit numbers are neither threeven nor even?
[5] What is the natural density of numbers that are threeven but not even?
