My step by step on how I painted the wheels on my Gen 5 Camaro.
Total cost of materials was $100 - all from Home Depot.
Painting performed 06/21/14 - 06/22/14.
Supplies used:
Simple Green cleaner/de-greaser
CLR Grease Magnet cleaner/de-greaser
Rust-oleum Automotive Primer - Matt Dark Gray (4 cans)
Rust-oleum Professional High Performance Enamel - Gloss Black (5 cans)
Rust-oleum Clear Gloss Protective Enamel (4 cans)
Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scouring Pads
220 Grit Very Fine Sandpaper
I will update as to the durability of the wheel paint when I have some mileage on them.
