Cette vidéo a été enregistrée lors d'un stage "Découverte du répertoire John Playford". Merci aux stagiaires.
Il s'agit de Mage on a Cree qui se trouve dans la première édition de Playford. Il s'agit de ma reconstruction qui suit Playford mais pas Cecil Sharp lequel prive les dames de leurs méandres autour des hommes ! Nous utilisons un enregistrement Chestnut que vous retrouverez sur le CD " Les Oubliées". Voir Boutique
This video has been recorded during a course devoted to the John Playford repertoire and I must thank the dancers.
Mage on a Cree is a good dance in three parts to be found in the first edition of the Dancing Master. This is my reconstruction and it does not follow Sharp's who strips the women of their going round the men in the second part. We use one of the CHESTNUT CDS and you will find the music in "Les Oubliées"-see shop
