In our learning labs, you can work with state-of-the-art equipment to gain foundational nursing skills. You will develop skills such as hand hygiene, standard procedures, and vital signs. You will use skills learned here in simulation labs, clinical rotations, and throughout your career.

Our simulation labs challenge students with realistic scenarios in a controlled environment before they apply what they learn to real patient interactions. These labs come equipped with high-fidelity simulation manikins and feature mixed reality technology, which is a combination of virtual reality and real life. Simulation labs.

We also offer open lab hours for students to work and practice their skills independently from their designated lab time. This can be a great way to apply what you have learned in the online modality to real-life scenarios.

While most classwork is completed online, you will also need to visit the learning site to take timed proctored exams on your personal laptop computer in a designated classroom at the learning site. We also provide a separate testing room for any students who require testing accommodations.

In our office suite, students can schedule appointments with faculty to discuss classwork or receive additional help. Providing support to students is of the utmost importance to us, and we encourage our students to utilize their instructors as a resource.
