Trekking at Mare Longue starts at the entrance of the Black River Gorges National Park at Petrin. The trail is mostly flat through out with some magnificent viewpoints and loads of nature along the way. The round circuit from Petrin to Mare Longue and coming back is around 13km.
Oh yeah, during months April to July (mostly winter season in Mauritius), there are loads of goyaves de chines (red ones) & goyaves de france (yellow ones) to be eaten all along the way ;)
