On our visit to Santorini, we arranged for a private day of tasting wine, olive oil - which we learned is truly an art - and we cooked with fresh local ingredients at one of Santorini’s top-rated restaurants, Selene.
Guided by owner Georgia, hosts Kristin and Kate Chambers learned what makes the island’s wines so unique (hint - volcanic soil), we learned that olive oil can be tasted much the same way as fine wine, and we discovered the culinary pleasures of aubergine.
