From River Pumpkin to Kaka Sweet: Gilan Women's Reward in the Rice Fields! 🌾 👩‍🌾 🎃

My day starts with finding a gourd in the river, and on that excuse, I decide to bake the traditional sweet "kaka" (or kulu bij halwa) to tire out my mother and the women who are engaged in manual cultivation.

🍴👩‍🍳 The recipe for Kaka pumpkin sweets:
🌿🧂Raw materials:
Baked and mashed pumpkin
wheat flour
rice flour
egg
cinnamon powder
sugar
salt
oil
Fresh orange peel

🥣 First, we cook the pumpkin and separate its flesh.
Then we mash it well and then add wheat flour and rice flour to it to absorb the excess water of the pumpkin and make the dough more consistent, then add sugar depending on the sweetness of the pumpkin.
Then add a little salt, cinnamon, grated fresh orange peel and eggs and mix well until the ingredients are smooth.
Then pour oil in a hot pan and fry the kaka in any form you like.
