VAGUE – The New ABC of Boredom.
What do you do when you’re isolated for 18 hours in a train compartment while your colleagues are partying next door? You write the rhythm of exclusion.
This is a journey from A to Z (and the Danish Æ, Ø, Å) through the lens of a "Vague" memory. Featuring the iconic Marilyn Monroe – who famously starred in the last Marx Brothers film – this video is a grotesque, minimalist take on a journey to the French Alps (Les Deux Alpes).
From the rhythmic rattle of the tracks to the "Black Wall" of La Mure, follow the letters as they progress through the track. It’s a story of being the last one on the list, the one left in the empty seat, and the surreal beauty found in isolation.
Music Style: Electronica / Minimal Techno / Experimental
Inspiration: Marx Brothers, Industrial rhythms, and 18 hours of solitude.
