Baka Di Laman Bonaire's Hurricane Wreck ep. 51

Описание: In November 1999, Hurricane Lenny heads east instead of west and slams Bonaire's leeward shore with waves in excess of 10 feet doing immeasurable damage to Bonaire's west coast, forever impacting Bonaire's shore diving. A large wave tossed The Baka Di Laman (Sea Cow) II onto the shore and the wreck was later made an artificial reef. Come with us as we learn more about Bonaire's history and explore, arguably, one of the most beautifully colored wrecks on the island. We will also observe marine life behavior in the shallows in the area between Bonaire's Front Porch dive site and the northern Harbour Village marina breakwall. You will learn about a special snowflake coral found on the wreck as well as the outstanding colors and marine life in and around this wreck.
