Cappadocia Travel Vlog Day 2 - Uchisar Castle, Kaymakli Underground City & Ortahisar Castle

Описание: Our second day exploring the Cappadocia region we wake up for sunrise to watch the hot air balloons in Goreme, head up to the Ortahisar Castle VIewpoint, wander around the fascinating Kaymakli Underground City & finally end our day at the Uchisar Castle.

Cappadocia is known for 100’s of hot air balloons that take flight at sunrise. There are many places to watch the balloons at flight during sunrise. The spot we watched at in our video was across from the Goreme Open Air Musuem.

The Ortahisar Castle VIewpoint is the second most popular castle (first being Uchisar Castle). Climbing to the top provides you with excellent views of Ortahisar and the valley. The Ortahisar Castle entrance fee is 10 TL.

Kaymakli Underground City is about a 30 minute drive from Goreme. You can hire a private guide when you arrive to explain the history of the city. The Kaymakli Underground City entrance fee is 100 TL.

Uchisar Castle is the most popular and largest castle in Cappadocia. From here you can wander around the base of the castle as there’s lots of paths leading you around the Valley. The Uchisar Castle entrance fee is 50 TL.
