Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (@IMFALtd) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire @TataSteelIndiaLtd Kalinganagar ferro chrome plant in Odisha for ₹610 crore. This strategic acquisition adds 99 MVA furnace capacity (66 MVA operational and 33 MVA under construction) to IMFA, taking the company’s total installed ferro chrome capacity beyond 0.5 million tonnes per annum.
