We recently met with our wider supply chain to discuss how we can go further in our journey towards net zero in construction.
At the event, we were joined by businesses from across the steel, concrete and earthworks sectors to explore opportunities for low carbon construction.
The #LowerThamesCrossing is a pathfinder project and we have ambitious plans for meeting zero emissions and holding events like this, enable us to bring together our delivery partners and the supply chain to discuss how we can decarbonise further, what the challenges are and how we can support the supply chain.
We are committed to working collaboratively with stakeholders and our supply chain to leave a positive skills, education and employment legacy across local communities.
