Follow along to learn how I enlarge a tiny pattern from a book into a life-size pattern that will fit a human! I’m using this method to enlarge a pattern for 18th century stays from Patterns of Fashion 5. This is the first step to converting a documented extant garment into something that will fit me!
To follow this method exactly you will need an iPhone, a computer running iOS, Adobe Acrobat, and a printer. If you don’t have an iPhone or computer with iOS, the principles used will still work - you’ll just need to use Windows photo editing software instead.
