Sometimes after starting a job, I really question my sanity. This one is one of those jobs. I was speaking with the local postman a few jobs ago, and he recommended this yard and said it was well out of control and overgrown. Let me tell you, he wasn't wrong. Initially, when I went around to have a look, I passed on this job, and it went into the “too hard” basket! After a couple of more drives past, I decided to give it a try. I soon realise that I had made a terrible mistake. It was an absolute nightmare to complete. As you can see, it has years of growth over it - trees, blackberries, wood, rubbish, some type of vine, off cuts, a real disaster! I spoke to the neighbour, and he said that he had been there for 6 years and this section hadn't really been touched in any significant way. I thought that I could get it done in an episode, but Easter and the weather had something to say about that, so it will be completed in multiple parts. All up, this job took me around 8 hours to complete, with 3 trips to the landfill included (close to a tonne). This is episode 2 of 11.
