Описание: Socotra is south of Yemen and east of Somalia sometimes being called the Galapagos of the Indian Ocean. It boasts many unique species such as the Cucumber Tree, Socotran Buzzard and the iconic Blood Dragon Tree.

The blood dragon tree is particularly notable as it is known to bleed because of its resin.

Socotra is commonly called the most alien place in the world and for a good reason, it’s trees have umbrella shapes growing bulbously and it’s plants are hostile.

Still it is amazing for its seabirds such as the socotran cormorant and vegetation.

It is like a real lost world.
