On 20-21/11/2023, the Pedex Crossing in Blakedown, on the A456, saw it’s Halogen PEEK Elite Traffic Lights and Pedestrian Signals replaced with LED Telent 4Gs. The PEEK TPC controller was also replaced.
I was first made aware of it by my dad, who mentioned to me that the crossing was out of use, and that there was temporary traffic lights in situ. This lead me to believe that they were possibly getting replaced, as quite a few halogen traffic lights have been getting replaced recently around the Worcestershire area. This turned out to be true as, when I went down to have a look, one set had already been replaced while the other set was still yet to be replaced.
Work to replace the lights was completed on 21/11/2023.
