I am often asked what to look for when buying a vintage motorcycle. In this introduction video to my latest project, a 1980 Honda CB900 Custom, I will go over some of the things I look for when buying vintage. This bike is a good daily driver as opposed to a concours condition show bike. As such, I am looking at price, cosmetic condition, mechanical condition, mileage, and to a limited extent, originality. I will be starting the bike, doing a walk-around, and project next steps.
