I'm not sure exactly when but I heard this Hawk Model 982 has also gone by the name of the Norinco Model 982 Shotgun. From what I understand there was no difference between the two shotguns just the same firearm with a different company name on it.
A friend of mine just purchased this used Hawk Model 982 12 gauge shotgun a couple weeks ago and asked me to hold onto it for him for a few months so I could get it properly cleaned and lubricated and take it shooting and use it to create some content. I was more than happy to do this because I have some experience with shotguns in fact the first gun I ever owned was an old stevens savage break action single shot 12 gauge shotgun. And before taking this shotgun shooting after I cleaned it I had only got the chance to shoot one pump action shotgun and that was about a year and a half ago so I was really excited to go take it shooting and probably shot off close to 80 different various loads of shotgun shells, but most commonly target loads and bird shot.
I wasn't having any issues finding how to videos on the filed strip and reassembly process, but I couldn't find any you tube videos showing how to properly clean this shotgun so hopefully the next time someone needs that information my video will be able to help them out.
