MY MASTER 1 DRAGON MASTER MAGIA DECK!

Описание: This is my 1st time reaching Master 1 with Dragon Master Magia. I think the engines I used in this deck really complement Dragon Master Magia. I think Dogmatika cards (mainly Nadir and Maximus) are widely known for their great synergies in fulfilling Dragon Master Magia's requirement. They can also give the deck extra interruptions, in the form of Punishment and Fleurdelis. On the other hand, Invoked gives the deck an extra negate, which means Master Magia isnt baited as easily as before, and help resolving Ultimate Fusion's effect. Besides, Invoked allows the deck to be more ressilient/immune to handtraps, as well as giving the deck recovery option if Dragon Master Magia is ever getting defeated.

For this Season 31 (July 2024), I wanted to use Predaplant engine, instead of the Invoked engine, initially. But by doing so, it means the deck focuses more on just summoning Dragon Master Magia. It's not bad, but with only 1 negate on each card type (monster, spell and trap), it means Master Magia can be baited easier and the deck feels having less interruptions. If it loses, the deck doesnt have plan B. On its own (without Dogmatika cards/IoC), Predaplant engine may feel like it doesnt really do much. On the other hand, Invoked is more resillient to handtraps, gives extra interruptions, and also helps the recovery/grinding game if the game drags on.

This deck is a going 1st combo deck aimed to summon Dragon Master Magia, while also having other interruptions. This deck, like any other decks, isn't unbeatable. There are times when you just cant win/are just unlucky. For example, you lose so many coin toss and end up going 2nd most of the time or you dont open any handtraps/breakers going 2nd. Sometimes you win coin toss, but opp may have lucky Called by/Bystial to stop your Ultimate Fusion play. Things like this can happen. Still, if you are lucky, always ensure to use your negates wisely, because winning isnt only about setting up your board, but also using them wisely.
