In college, I studied cultural relations for multinational companies—how global organizations navigate differences in language, values, norms, and power across countries. I learned this through psychology and business.
But here’s the contradiction no one talks about:
They teach you how to manage cultural differences across oceans…
Yet they don’t teach you how to navigate the cultural divide between Black and white people in America—inside the same organizations, cities, and institutions.
This isn’t about blame.
It’s about systems vs. intentions.
Most companies, leaders, and institutions have good intentions.
But good intentions are not enough when the system was never designed to understand internal cultural realities.
In this video, I explain:
• Why American racial dynamics are treated as a moral issue instead of a cultural systems issue
• How psychology and business education avoid domestic racial complexity
• Why diversity efforts fail when they ignore lived experience
• How organizations confuse intent with infrastructure
This is part of my ongoing series:
“Good Intentions Are Not Good Enough.”
If we want real progress, we have to stop avoiding the conversation—and start designing systems that actually reflect reality.
I help individuals and institutions understand the road they’re on—before they blame the traffic.
