Thermodynamics Excel calculator : Rankine cycle efficiency calculations

Описание: This video explains how the Thermodynamics excel calculator or mechanical engineering calculator can be used for calculating the Rankine cycle efficiency & Carnot cycle efficiency in case of a steam power plant.
The user will have to input the data from the steam tables. Here, it is assumed that the steam is dry-saturated at the entry to the steam turbine.
Using this calculator the user can find the efficiency if the boiler pressure is increased or the condenser pressure is reduced.
The various parameters like dryness fraction at the turbine exit, net work, turbine work, pump work, condenser load can also be calculated using this calculator easily.

The problem statement is as follows:
In a steam power cycle, the steam is supplied at 20 bar & dry-saturated. The condenser pressure is 0.3 bar. Calculate the Carnot & Rankine cycle efficiency. Neglecting the pump work.
