Pocket Adventure is a game that happens to reuse Sonic 3 music, Sonic 2 levels, and Sonic 2 enemies. The 2013 version (where the mod originally started from) tried to recreate a majority of the stuff from the game such as the characters, custom music, and custom badniks.

Credit goes to RedSlash for creating the Sonic sprites in the mod, while credit also goes to SegaDZTVEJam making the object sprites and soundtrack additions. The creator (ArthuzinXD) only ported the mod and made some changes in certain areas.

It is also worth noting that it's not yet complete and there are still several bugs, so hopefully that'll get fixed in future updates.
