The Progressa+ bed has a maximum patient weight of 500 lbs, with brake and steer pedals for easy maneuverability. It also features a CPR pedal for emergency situations. The bed is equipped with three power cords, two integrated oxygen tank holders, and an IntelliDrive powered transport system for effortless transport.

The bed offers various patient positioning options, including FullChair positioning with sit-to-stand functionality, StayInPlace feature, Boost position, and Side Exit Assist. It also features Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positioning, and the Flexafoot feature allows you to customize the overall length of the bed and sleep surface.

The bed controls include Caregiver Pendant, Lockout controls, and HandsFree foot controls. The Color Touch Screen controls display bed controls, bed status, and applications. The touch screen features an Alarm tab for bed-exit and head angle alarms, a Scale tab for weighing patients, and a Settings tab for accessing patient history and other settings.

The bed also offers in-bed technologies such as Rotation Therapy and Pulmonary & Vibration therapy, providing the option to select preset or custom settings. The Rotation Therapy provides side-to-side Continuous Lateral Rotation Therapy, while the Percussion & Vibration helps prevent and treat pulmonary complications.
