PR Counsel Managing Director Kristy McSweeney says the government is “absolutely failing” to negotiate with industry on a transition plan.
Ms McSweeney says Australia needs to find a policy solution that’s “realistic".
“That’s not overpromising and that’s quite frankly not setting Australia up to fail domestically and internationally,” she told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“They seem to be implementing these targets by stealth.
“People can’t pay their bills.”
