Описание: I think we are taught the wrong way to look up the Rule Book


Believe it or not the Rule Book is written in very logical order that helps us find things pretty quick.


It is written for the purpose of wiring up buildings, and the main electrician it is written for is the domestic electrician as they are the ones that the public interact more with their work.


The easiest building to wire up is a shed; all it has is power and light.

Then it will expand into houses which are a little harder, with wet areas like bathrooms.

Then it goes into more foreign areas not usually covered by the domestic electrician, Mines, Hazardous Areas, HV, Boats, Caravans, etc.


All you need to do is ask yourself, at what process in the wiring up the building, does my question site?


Is it about the standard itself? That will be in Chapter 1

The Switchboard? Chapter 2

Roughing it in? Chapter 3

Fit Off or connecting a motor? Chapter 4

MEN? Chapter 5

(Shed is now done – Move on to houses)

Bathroom or Pool? Chapter 6

(House is now done – Move on to more unusual things)

HV? Chapter 7

(All done, but not quite finished yet)

Testing? Chapter 8
