Quattro!, The First And Only SPHG Quad... First Flight!

Описание: This is Quattro, The First And Only SPHG Quad that I built to comply with the UK'S. SPHG Rules of being sub 70 or 75kg if a reserve parrashoot is fitted.

I started to build it in 2016 after the rules were changed allowing for wheel launching a powered hang glider.. the rules would come into affect in 2017.

I built Quattro in my bedroom!, it took over a year to make, then it sat for years gathering dust untill I could afford a light enough engine..

that happened earlier this year and I was then able to make it comply with the weight limit....

this is my first flight for 11 years and I'm on a new to me wing and I never did a powered wheel launch before now, only foot launching, which I can now confirm is much more difficult than in my Quad on wheels.

I built Quattro but I would not be flying it now if it wasn't for the help of others in my life!..
