Landing on Runway 24 at Memmingen Airport after the flight from Palma de Mallorca. Due to heavy thunderstorms in France and Switzerland, we flew an untypical route from the Balearic Islands past Corsica to the Italian mainland near Genoa, on towards Milan and finally via Innsbruck to Memmingen. At the same time, it was also my last landing on the old runway at Memmingen Airport. One week later, the airport closed for a two week period for the complete reconstruction of the runway.
