Castlevania: SotN Richter - the One-Handed Video

Описание: Richter movement can be pretty cool. I made this video to try and show that off in ways and areas that you don't necessarily get to see in a speedrun. The one-handed thing was just a fun challenge for me. This was only a fun little joke project, and I'm sure more could be done with it given more than just a few days of planning and practice with this control style. Obvious inspiration is taken from desk.
OBS also gave me a hard time so the audio is a bit desynced in one or two places...

Some notes about the movement:
0:34 - It doesn't look super smooth, but this backflip is only possible after doing a jump without turning around. Still works if your uppercut bonks the ceiling. I didn't know you could backflip after an uppercut under any circumstances so I wanted to show it off in some way, even if the movement here looks a little choppy.
0:40 - Had to wait for the right statue to fully extend before being able to slide on it. This meant I had one opportunity every 2 minutes to try and get this movement right. The finger counting was just because I ran out of ideas on how to mess around in place with Richter by that point in recording ^^;
1:41 - Third arm glitch.
1:58 - Tried to hide the airslash input within the wiggletron, then plinked jump-attack with thumb and index finger respectively. Hopefully the input isn't too obvious in motion.
2:21 - Yes this damage is intentional.
2:40 - Keep skip. As far as I know, getting out of bounds here is subpixel and frame perfect. Going into this project I'd considered it a decent end goal of what I could realistically achieve over the short recording period, but it turned out not to be too bad to pull off one-handed.
